LOUDA

Satirical, sincere, sassy, sabrosita—LOUDA is a Chicago born, Oakland based singer-songwriter collaborating with diverse artists, styles, and languages. Her vocal fluidity and lyrical tenacity command stages, performing originals and reimagined covers solo or with band Louda y los Bad Hombres (Afro-Latin meets Rock-Soul).

Although Louda originally found success as a classical performer, she still yearned for something more. She began to experiment with writing and producing her own music, which led to the creation of her debut album, Feedback.

Continually evolving her lyrics, music, style, and name, exploring new sounds and influences that have shaped her unique musical spectrum delivering many R&B and hip-hop tracks with a gamut of different melodies and themes, such as never-ending love and the enjoyment of life in songs like, “Bells”, “End of Summer,” “Equity” and “Fresita”. But Louda’s musical journey was far from over.

In 2017, Louda partnered with Leo Nava and founded LOUDA y Los Bad Hombres, a genre-crossing group that blends traditional Salsa, Cumbia, Jazz, Rock & Roll, Soul, and Hip-Hop. The diversity of styles reflects the diverse city she grew up in and the diverse community of Oakland where she now resides.

Alongside her six-piece live band, LOUDA y Los Bad Hombres, she is dedicated to preserving historical Afro-Cuban and Latinx genres while also exploring new musical territory. Recently, Louda has released Spanish-singing singles “Deja Que Baila,” and “Deja nos En Paz,” which highlights her cultural versatility and artistry.

Her name, which she describes as feeling “ahead of me,” perfectly captures the momentum and excitement of her rapidly growing career.
